Kerastase Kerathermie

Kerathermie Rituals

Since hair forms part of our physical appearance, hair care is important too. As such, hair care specialist Kérastase has introduced Kerathermie, a new salon treatment that helps nourish hair fibre, control frizz and enhance shine. Reputed as a “facial” for the hair, the treatment was inspired by the success of cauterisation (using heat to destroy abnormal cells) in Brazil.

Kérastase’s salon treatment, Kerathermie, claims to nourish hair fibre, control frizz and enhance shine. Kerathermie offers a combination of layered treatments using heat. This product claims to help restructure hair fibre and reduce porosity.

How it works: Kérastase’s aqua-oleum oil and concentré vita-ciment serum are gently applied onto damp hair. Next, specially-designed thermo-infusion irons, heated to 180°C, are used to strengthen the effect of the hair lotion and smooth the surface of hair fibre.

Following that, Kérastase’s oleo-relax mask cream is applied on the hair for 15 minutes. Enriched with moisturising oils, the cream helps to add nutrition and soften hair fibre.

After a through wash and blow-dry, Kérastase’s nutri-scalp is applied to hair to add bounce and shine.
